At age seven Brandon had his first surfing encounter with his father in Costa Rica.. From seven to his early teens his main obsessions were board related activities (think skateboarding, snowboarding, boogie-boarding, and surfing) - accompanied by long summer days at the beach with friends. In his early teens, the surf bug officially bit him and it became his full time pursuit. Throughout his late teens he surfed competitively before heading off to college. Now with years of surf experience under his belt, he enjoys sharing the gift of surfing with those looking to learn.

Brandon grew up in the South Bay area of Los Angeles and currently teaches lessons locally throughout the Los Angeles area -  from the southern 'Right After Torrance Beach' to the northern beach of Zuma up in Malibu. To Brandon, surfing is an integral part of life and he enjoys watching his students grow in connection with the ocean and nature, as well as see the benefits surfing adds to their everyday lives. He teaches both beginners as well as intermediate/advanced students and likes to cater his teachings to the goals of each student with a personalized one-on-one approach.
